Bath Facial Aesthetics was established in 2007 by Dr Marie-Claire Hamling MBBS (Guy’s) MRCGP who has been a doctor for over 25 years and has been working as a G.P. in Bath since 1993. Her interests in general practice include Minor Surgery which she does for her own patients at Fairfield Park Health Centre, and also receives referrals for minor surgery for many of the practices in Bath. In 2007 she became aware that there were no Aesthetic clinics in Bath that were doctor led and were run by doctors based in Bath, who could offer on site support and follow up locally, so decided to open Bath Facial Aesthetics. Since then the practice has grown such that we now have over 1,000 patients both locally and visiting from as far afield as New York, Bangkok and Dubai. The aim is to offer a friendly, personal service within a clinical setting to ensure that patients are fully informed of the best treatment for them and can be assured of safety and the highest clinical standards at all times.

Over the years the styles and trends in facial aesthetics have changed. Dr Hamling has always preferred the “less is more” approach to achieve the best possible results with minimal risk yet ensure that her patients are always informed of the best treatment for them, even if this sometimes means saying no.

Dr Marie-Claire Hamling has received advanced training in the use of Wrinkle Reducing Injections, Dermal fillers, Sculptra, Genuine Dermaroller, Silhouette Soft Thread Lifts as well as in the use of Pharmaceutical Grade Skin Care Products. She is currently undergoing a 5 year Masterclass training in Juvederm fillers under the guidance of Dr Mauricio de Maio.
